Certified Network Associate |
What
became the world's standard for networking - the CCNA certification
(Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in and
apprentice knowledge of networking for the small office/home office
(SOHO) market. CCNA certified professionals can install, configure,
and operate LAN, WAN, and dial access services for small networks
(100 nodes or fewer), including but not limited to use of these
protocols: IP, IGRP, IPX, Serial, AppleTalk, Frame Relay, IP RIP,
VLANs,RIP, Ethernet, Access Lists. The Academy program combines

Unix
Fundamentals |

Created
by Sun Microsystems and Cisco Systems, Fundamentals of UNIX teaches
students how to use UNIX operating system commands and, in the hands-on
exercises, basic Sun Microsystems' Solaris operating environment
commands, and introduces you to the Common Desktop Environment (CDE
- graphical interface between different environments). The class
is intended for new users of UNIX. Students will learn fundamental
command-line features of the Solaris environment including file
system navigation and management, file permissions, text editors,
command shells and networking, CDE features,etc. |

Linux
in Enterprise Environment |

Originally designated for a small group of
corporate clients, this course has grown into one of our best products for those who are seeking in-depth advanced training in Linux. The course covers almost all aspects of the Linux system administration, starting with history and basic concepts of the Linux architecture, going through process, account and filesystem managament and ending up with configuration tips for various intra- and internet services (HTTP, FTP, DNS, Mail, File Sharing, etc.). There are lots of instructor-led practical exercises which help students
to strengthen and master their skills. |
This
course is not intended for beginners. At least some basic
knowledge and experience in UNIX/Linux is required. If you do not
have such, we advice you to register for the UNIX Fundamentals

Java Language Programming Course provides a conceptual understanding
of Object Oriented programming and teaches use of JAVA language's
Object Oriented Technologies to solve business problems. Students
will learn how to create classes, objects and applications using

of Web Design is a sponsored curriculum from Adobe Systems and Cisco
Systems. Fundamentals of Web Design will focus on the overall production
processes surrounding web site design with particular emphasis on
design elements involving layout, navigation and interactivity.
Cisco Networking Academy students will learn Web Design in preparation
for higher education or jobs in the Internet Economy. Hands-on Web
Design exercises will be taught using Adobe® Photoshop®,
Adobe Illustrator®, Adobe GoLive, Adobe LiveMotion,
and Adobe Premiere®. This course will be available starting
July'2003. |
