Is
the course full or part-time?
Academy
courses are delivered both ways - part-time and full-time. For
non-Bulgarian residents all courses, taught in non-remote environment,
are delivered full-time and course schedule is significantly concised.
Courses taught in remote environment are part-time and combined
synchronous-asynchronous (via interactive conference interface).
Can
I study the course at home?
Each
course requires certain element of self-study. The self-study
portion depends on the class environment - remote or local. This
is limited by the huge amount of hands-on lab activities, which
are an essential part of each course, as the ratio lectures/labs
is approximately 3:4.
What
is the earned certificate upon course completion?
The
Academy issues a certificate of course completion, but it is important
to know that Cisco Career, Comp TIA and Sun Microsystems certifications
are earned by attending at a test center - VUE or Prometric and
is not automatically achieved upon course completion. There is
a certification exam fee, which is paid to the exam supplier.
Upon completing Cisco Networking Academy Program course you will
receive a 70% off regular exam price discount voucher and, of
course, you will be completely prepared to take the exam.
Where
I can find more information about course contents and objectives?
You
can view a demo of various curriculum or download course objectives
by visiting the curriculum section
of our web site.
My
company requires professional training. Is this program suitable?
Yes
it is. However, there are Cisco Training Partners that offer the
program over a fraction of the time. The courses offered by Cisco
Systems' Partners are substantially more expensive to their students
than Networking Academy classes. Training Partners generally target
people working for companies and they offer very little hands-on
experience. Commercial training classes are also more product
oriented than the Networking Academy curriculum, which is technology
orientated and conceptual, including vast amounts of hands-on
labs. The Academy training model uses facilitated learning rather
than lectures to impart the principals of networking, programming
or operating systems administration. Corporate customers are offered
on-site training, consulting on specific production problems and/or
solutions and many more extras.
Is
it possible for my school/college to join the Cisco Networking Academy
Program?
It
is possible to join our Academy Network and become a Local Cisco
Academy. As your parent Academy, Regional Cisco Academy "Future
21st Century Foundation" will train your instructors, will
guide you through your first steps in the Academy Program and
will support various technical aspects of your program involvement.
We will audit the quality of training, provided by your Local
Academy. For more information, e-mail: info@cacad.com.
