Digital
Divide:
The
digital divide is the gap between the technological countries
and less developed countries, between social groups who have
and those that don't have access to technologies, education
and digital equity. This prevents people with disabilities,
low-income individuals, people indisadvantaged communities,
even countries, from taking part in the digital revolution.
See how Regional Cisco Networking Academy and the "Future
21st Century Foundation" addresses these issues in the
"Bridging the Digital Divide"
Program. |

Workforce
Development:
Workforce
Development Program gives Cisco Networking Academy students
the opportunity to get strong technical skills and real work
experience. Main goal of the project is to achieve students'
work readiness by participation in internships, job shadowing
experiences, on site visits, and lectures that introduce students
to the workplace culture and how the networking skills they
are learning fit into the day to day work flow of a business.
